Lookie, it's not a rant post! Haha!

So the summer is almost over, and I need some practice before school starts and during school. I'm having fun modelling in maya and doing random things in unreal editor for class purposes, but I need some practice drawing.

I wrote a story awhile ago, that I always wanted to draw. It's shorter then pretty much every other story I've written but I thought the story was solid enough and people would like it.

I got some manga books that came with toning cd's and thought 'why not? let's put this manga together!'

so you guessed it, i'm doing a manga!

It's the perfect excuse for me to travel and draw buildings for bg's, poses for people, and create some fancy new characters. I duno if my watch list is big enough yet that people would care... but you never know.

Where do i need help?

Character creation actually. I'll put the prologue, basically what the story is about...and I'd like 5 watchers, or 5 friends to create a character profile and maybe even image to join in on my manga! So that you can be directly apart of it! It's my way of thanking my friends, and getting a solid group interested in it. The whole story will be credited by me, but you'll get credit for your character.

What you need to do...

Okay, there are five elementals in this: Wood, fire, water, earth and metal. I'm not going to explain what those powers are, because it spoils the manga.
I need three guys, and two girls. or three girls and two guys, but not four girls, or four guys, or five girls or five guys ok? I wana mix and match gender. If you want another race, sure thing!

plot line

basically about a story that starts out in feudal japan,
a small village with a princess of the village who has special telekinetic powers given to her by a manuscript she read and was later destroyed by the emperor. She was the only person to read it.
5 of her friends/ villagers were granted each the power of an element: Fire, wood, water, earth and metal.
they were sent away to master their abilities through temple training. But while they were away, their princess was killed.
They used the ultimate and last ability of their training to focus their energy and bring her back...but unfortunately, they couldn't control it and they all were sacrificed.

the princess, was revived, but sent to the future, 2015.
and the five elementals continued to be re born until that present.

The story is orientated around late high school, early college in canada. It'll be 6 chapters long dealing with drama, romance, fighting etc. It'll be rated teen, so there will be mild violence.

If you need more info, send me a note or an email or ask me on msn. I wont give away the plot, but i can assist you on creating your character. remember, i need 3 guys and 2 girls, or 3 girls and 2 guys. try not to make them too young or too old. Thats why i gave the age limit.

You also wont get to know your powers or anything crazy like that, because it'll be a way to see your character develop and a surprise to you.

For outfits, try to think of an exageration of every day clothing or cultural clothing if your ethnicity is different then canadian.

You can be french, spanish, italian, japanese, chinese, german, british, anything, black, white, etc.

Credits

When your character is introduced and a special profile picture is created, you will get credited for the creation of that character.
You can do fanart, screen shots, anything from the story/manga once your apart of it. (if i see it getting popular, i'll have contests with people doing fanart of it outside the manga).
